Stringing

The art of stringing is often overlooked. It can range from a simple creation where beads are threaded on to silk, leather thong or wire, to more complex creations that have numerous strands and levels.

Skills Gained:

This 3 day course will teach the skills of stringing beads on to a variety of thread mediums as well as proficient knotting to create different styles separating the beads from each other. You will be able to incorporate different items in to your work, such as pendants or drops as well as a variety of semi-precious stone beads.

Finally you will learn how to secure a clasp to your piece. All the materials required for you to complete the course are provided as part of your course fees and you will leave with your very own item of jewellery*
