This is a 3 day course run by the Diamond Trading Company (formerly De Beers) exclusively for Holts Academy will give you a unique insight into diamonds. This course will cover topics from the 4 C’s to grading and mining.

The DTC is committed to making a contribution to the communities in which it operates. As a result four times a year the DTC offers this exclusive course for UK based people to attend in conjunction with Holts Academy of Jewellery. The course offers a unique opportunity to learn about rough and polished diamonds. No prior knowledge is necessary to complete the course.

This is a practical course working with an unrivalled stock of rough and polished  diamonds. Your instructor will give you guidance throughout and due to the class size of only 4 there is plenty of opportunity for one to one tuition.

Skills Gained:

A mix of in-depth presentations and practical skills make this course ideal for anyone who needs a complete overview of the diamond industry and diamonds. Prospective students must fill in a DTC application form, available only from the Academy, and return by the strict deadline stated at the end of the application form.

To apply for this course you must ideally have a knowledge of the jewellery trade and be living or working in the local area. Spaces are strictly limited and the course fees may carry heavy subsidies*
