This 3 day course will show you how to create a variety of settings. You will learn how to set stones without the risk of breaking the stone or the stone coming loose. Your new skills will enable you to set stones using the following techniques and give you a fuller appreciation of the skills required.
Skills Gained:
This course will cover the following types of settings:

Gypsy setting,
- rub over setting (setting a stone in tight-fitting metal wall, the bezel, used on both cabochon and faceted jewellery)
- Pave (clusters of tiny diamonds can create great accents at very reasonable prices. Stones are carefully set by raising tiny beads or grains of gold or platinum over them).
