You will learn how to make the best use of stones within your work, use specialist tools and equipment and experiment with unusual shaped stones. The course will also provide the opportunity to explore gypsy setting (a diamond or gemstone placed into a grooved, tapered hole, the grooves hold the girdle and then the surrounding metal is pressed and hammered around the opening to secure the stone) and related tool making.
