I knew from the age of 12 that I wanted to be a jeweler , I studied Art and Design and worked in the industry in management for ten years. After taking some time off for my growing family I recently returned with a longing to be creative again. Holts was exactly what I needed to re-hone my dormant skills and I will be eternally grateful to them for the marvelous opportunities the school has opened up to me and has enabled me to become the designer/goldsmith that I always hoped I would be when I started.

My piece is called ‘Nature’s Trail’ and was inspired by a visit to the Eden Project at St Austell in Cornwall in spring this year and features yellow and white gold with chocolate pearls, diamonds, gems and enamel.
