The newcomers prize was won by Erez Kovrigo for a beautifully crafted bangle set with semi-precious gem-stones called ‘Butterflies of Love’.

Erez is a self employed jewellery designer maker based near Dulwich who only recently became involved in the industry after being inspired to learn jewellery design after travelling in Asia. He works from his studio in Tulse Hill and takes commissions for individual pieces while developing his own range of jewellery for men and women.

Erez has taken many courses with Holts Academy and said ‘the teachers have vast experience and knowledge to share and with small classes very personal tuition which has helped me develop the skills and knowledge to develop my own style’.
