Jewellery designer William Cheshire who won the first prize for ‘Future in the Making’ a competition for our Future in the Making Project, winning £2000 of consultancy with marketing and branding experts, Walford Wilkie. William said ‘my designs are inspired by the hidden glamour of the city streets at night, blending traditional workmanship with an edgy modern feel, with both historical and modern references as well as my love for creating an object from nothing’.

William’s winning piece was a pair of earrings, called ‘BURLESQUE’ created from white gold, pave set with diamonds and a cascading white gold.
