Most CAD rendering tools are designed to handle realistic lighting and photography techniques. But how do they apply, and how can we use them to get the most out of our imagery? In this seminar, we’ll focus on Flamingo, an easy-to-learn example of a CAD rendering package, and explore common threads between photography lighting and layouts and their equivalents in CAD, as well as experiment with their application.

Not feeling challenged? We’ve assembled a few of the worst-case scenario CAD modeling dilemmas we’ve ever discovered from jewellery production, and we’re not afraid to use them! Over this 1 day session, we will inflict these fiendishly difficult problems on groups of experienced users, allowing them to collaboratively brainstorm solutions.
