What happens when I apply?

You will be contacted within 2 - 3 working days to arrange an interview date.  The interview will take place on the Academy's premises. If you have a portfolio of work that includes designs or jewellery, please bring it with you to the interview. If you are under 19 years of age, please bring a parent or guardian with you.

What happens at my interview?

The interview consists of speaking with the admissions team face to face about your application in more detail, what to expect when studying with Holts Academy of Jewellery and also carrying out an initial skills assessment to ensure that you are applying for the right level of study.

You will also be given an opportunity to view the Academy's workshops, meet the delivery team and speak with our current students.

What happens after my interview?

We will contact you within 5 working days either in writing or by telephone to inform you if your application has been successful.

If your application has been successful you will be notified in writing and also be sent an acceptance form.  This must be signed and returned to us to formalise your place.  At this stage a deposit must be paid.  Once your deposit has been received you will be sent a full enrolment pack with details of your course, induction date and other relevant details.

If your application has been unsuccessful you will be notified in writing with an explanation of the decision.  The Admissions team are happy to discuss this further and offer advice on how to strengthen a future application.
