Which career comes from learning skills on a course such as the NVQ Jewellery Manufacture programme depends greatly on your own interests and capabilities. Whether you have a ‘dream job’ in mind, or wish to explore potential opportunities the Academy is on hand to help.
Going beyond providing the initial training, the dedicated staff at the Academy are in constant communication with the industry regarding future opportunities and apprenticeships for their students and graduates. Students are regularly offered work experience, internships or even full time employment through the Academy’s wealth of contacts.
Through studying with the Academy you are not only a student, but also part of the family. The Academy will introduce you and integrate you into the close-knit community that is the foundation of Hatton Garden.
As testament to the relevance and success of the NVQ Jewellery Manufacture qualification, the current rate of students employed within the industry sits at 74% (based on students who have completed studies February 2009 – March 2010). The remaining students have continued to further their education, applying for degree level courses, or to continue their studies on the Level 3 Jewellery Manufacture qualification.
